About Me

Welcome to the Nancy Callahan State Farm office! Originally from Chicago, I relocated to Austin, TX in 1983, the same year I became a State Farm Insurance Agent. With over 150 years of combined experience, my team and I assist our Good Neighbors in Austin, Cedar Park, Leander, Round Rock, Pflugerville, Georgetown, and the surrounding area with all their insurance needs!

Before starting my career in insurance, I attended the University of Arizona for an undergraduate program and continued to pursue my graduate degree in Industrial Relations at Loyola University in Chicago.

Giving back and supporting charities and local organizations is something that has always been important to me. I proudly support the Rodeo Austin Livestock Show and the Rodeo Youth Auction. I’m also a proud sponsor of the Austin Heart Association, the Austin Symphony, KMFA & KUT radio, the Blood Center of Central Texas, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and the Marialice Shivers NICU at Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin.

Additionally, in November 2020, I established the Nancy Jo Callahan Austin Technology Incubator at UT Austin Fund for Women in Entrepreneurship.

Originally a native of Santa Ana, California, she moved to Austin, Texas 14 years ago. At home, she has a rescue dog named Bella who is 12 years old. Her hobbies include running as she has run 14 half marathons and 7 full marathons with her next one being in December 2022.
